The French River Flying Club would like to thank Economic Partners Sudbury East-West Nipissing Local Initiative Contribution Program for their assistance and contribution towards the construction of an emergency use helipad at the French River/Alban Airport on Golf Course Road in Alban. These improvements will greatly increase pilot and passenger safety for emergency aircraft using the French River/Alban Airport as well as residents and visitors in need of emergency assistance.

Previously, Economic Partners was instrumental in assisting in the removal of Hydro lines at the end of two of our four runways, as well as marking and lighting on the north/south runway, thereby greatly improving safety at this important piece of French River infrastructure.
